“Clean and comfortable, but would benefit from refurbishment! If flat is on the front of the building, there’s a lot of noise and light from the street, at all hours! There are no blackout blinds, so bring an eye mask! Double glazing reduces the noise, but you’ll need ear plugs if sleeping with windows open. The hot water cylinder only heats up at night, so it’s not unusual to have no hot water in the evenings!”

“Location was great and right in the centre of Newbury. Apartment was equipped with everything needed for a stay away from home. The room was uncomfortably hot and the small amount the windows opened and fan were no use. Our shower was totally blocked but it was sorted. Cleanliness of the apartment was not to my standard. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Yew Tree House. The suite was a mini home from home, the decor was lovely and the furnishings stylish and extremely comfortable, especially the king-size bed, all in all everything you need. We received a really warm welcome from our host Pauline, who had a wealth of knowledge about Woodstock and the surrounding area, and nothing was too much for her, thank you. We will return with our friends.”

“Manu was a great host, he was very welcoming and helpful and provided clear instructions to find the apartment, parking and how to get into the property. The property was exactly as advertised, in a great location and was spotless. Also, having tea and coffee at the property is only a small touch but has a great impact and shows Manu cares for guests.
