Everything was great, from the staff to the hotel itself. Only complaint we had was the mini fridge wasn't plugged in and didnt have a spot to plug in.

I thought I was to young to appreciate small town feel. But in my 30's I fell for the small town charm. Local shops, food, mtn history all within easy walking distance. I felt ready to retire once we left. Love that little town!

Charming historic town offers variety of wonderful shops and restaurants. Very close to other small towns and only 1 hour from Asheville. Great location for parents of Western Carolina University students to stay. Best Western River is the very best!
