Top Zimmer, schön renoviert

Tolle Unterkunft mit sehr schön renovierten Zimmer. Hatten eines im Dachgeschoss mit Blick auf die Nordsee. Kleine Einschränkungen wegen Corona, aber toll gelöst. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Restaurants in Gehdistanz direkt am Strand. z.B. Hafensänger. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Seht schöne Lage kurz hinter dem Damm. Einmal rüber ind svjpn sieht man das Meer. Essen und Trinken gut. Eine Minigolfanlage vorhanden um sich die Zeit zu vertreiben.

Sehr schönes Hotel hinterm Deich.

Wir waren 4 Nächte an der Nordseeküste um vom Alltag eine kleine Auszeit zu nehmen. Das Hotel war ein Glücksgriff. Da unser Anreisetag ein Montag war und an diesem Tag Ruhetag ist, konnten wir erst am Dienstag im Hotel zu Abend essen. Meine Frau und ich sind Fisch Fans. Meine Frau bestellte gebratenes Rotbarschfilet und ich einen Matjesteller an Bratkartoffeln und „hausgemachter Remouladensauce „. Das Rotbarschfilet roch sehr intensiv nach Fisch, was nicht gerade von Frische zeugte. Meine Frau probierte ein Filet und ließ mich das Zweite probieren. Wir kamen beide zum Schluss, dieses Filet konnte auf keinen Fall frisch sein. Da ich seit über 30 Jahren Beruflich mit dem Einkauf und der Vermarktung von Fischen im Lebend-, Frisch-, Tiefkühl- und Conviniencezustand in allen Bereichen bis zum Endverbraucher zu Tun habe, erlaube ich mir dieses Urteil fällen zu können. Auf Nachfrage der Servicekraft ob der Fisch geschmeckt habe, trug ich mein Bedenken wegen der Frische vor. Mir wurde entgegnet die Küche erhalte jeden zweiten Tag frische Ware. Wir wollten keine weitere Diskussion führen und stimmten die restlichen Abende mit den Füßen ab. Wir finden es sehr schade, dass der Gesammteindruck des Hotels durch die Küche geschmälert wurde. Wir können das Hotel bezüglich der Unterbringung wärmstens empfehlen, aber nicht die Küche beim Fisch.
