Modern concept stay Hotel

Hotel adres listed is different then the actual Hotel reception! The Hotel is situated in the very center, with plenty of parking options. They have 2 buildings, after i figured out where the reception was. I eas able to check in and get room #209 a spacious room, without AC. Two big windows towards a side street from the high street shopping area. The staff was friendly and after asking for AC they offered to put a fan in my room, which was necessary due to the very warm weather. I did enjoy the breakfast with savory and sweet option to choose from. I liked the stay very much that i booked for Hannover too in the weekend.

The hotel is divided in two buildings, not even in the same street. Advice via email would have been great. Instead, we had to run around and try for find the lobby in the other building to get our keys. Not even a little map was posted, just the address. Assuming all hotel guests are non-local, this is not acceptable.

Safety Concerns

I travel very frequently and am used to most situations, and have no issues as a single traveller. On this occasion I travelled with my family so would be more concerned with standards/location/safety. on arrival at the address given, the doors were locked. It was 2pm in the afternoon. There was no reception. The bell on the door was rung multiple times but not answered. A small notice said to go to main building to check in. There were no directions. We googled the address on the door in &walked a few hundred meters in 28C with all our luggage, and found the sister hotel upstairs from a commercial unit. Checked in and were directed back the same distance from whence we came. Opposite the entrance to our accommodation was a drug unit or needle exchange where dozens of addicts congregated, with most begging from all passers by & us. This was the gauntlet we had to run on each occasion we left or entered the building. Absolutely unacceptable for family accommodation !!! At the very least there could have been a doorman/porter, but they would probably be afraid to work there. To add insult to injury, we were charged what would appear to be about 3 times the regular rate ( presumably due to Euro 2024), so for the premium charged just to us, having a doorman would have helped. In the event, we left after one night and booked accommodation elsewhere at our own expense, as we were simply tired of having to deal with unfortunate addicts who were more at home in the location. AVOID!!!

Warning! Dont stay at this hotel

I booked this hotel based on all the great reviews, but what a BIG disappointment. Arrived at the hotel as it was shown in the picture. Door was closed, no one answered the doorbell or the phone number written on the button. NO other info. Then by coinsidence 20 mins later, a random person walked by and told me the check in is at another hotel somewhere else. I had to walk ten minutes with all my luggage, finally arriving to another closed door with yet another doorbell which no one answered, 15 mins trying to get in trough doorbell and phone calls, no one answered, time was 9 in the evening. At last a guest randomly came out and let me in. Up to the reception in second floor i find a receptionist, she didnt speak a single word of english, and i didnt even wanna try to explain my frustrations, for obvious reasons. It was almost a miracle i even got the key to my room. Room is the only nice about this hotel, still the pillows were just bags filled with random chunks of material, and was horrible to sleep on. When checking out in the morning, dragging all my luggage around for a 10 mins walk, i faced the same problem again, door to reception downstairs were closed, and no one answered the door. After 20 mins ive had enough and went back to the room just threw the key at the floor and left. Dont stay here, unless you want to ruin your trip with tons of frustrations. Trust me, a nice room is not even close to compensate for all the hassle.

Das beste vom Hotel sind die super freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter/Innen. Zimmer, Rezeption und Frühstück sind zwischen zwei Gebäuden verteilt, was umständlich und gewöhnungsbedürftig ist.

Saubere Zimmer und zentrale Lage (Fußgängerzone). Leider muss man zum Check-In und Frühstück 100m zu einem anderen Gebäude laufen…hat uns aber nicht sonderlich gestört. Die Unterkunft liegt gegenüber einer sozialen Einrichtung, damit müsste man klar kommen. Die Thier-Galerie ist nur ein paar Fußschritte entfernt. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich.

Als wir ankamen und unsere Zimmer bezogen haben, war es von vorherigen Gast noch nicht gereinigt worden. Da es schon spät war, die Reinigungsfachkraft schon Feierabend und das Hotel ausgebucht war, wurde nach längere Diskussionen das Zimmer von der Rezeption gerichtet. Dies konnte man natürlich absolut nicht damit vergleichen, wenn es das dafür vorgesehene Personal erledigt hätte. Wir waren wirklich schon in vielen Hotels, aber so etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt.
