Amazing hotel close to Motorway and also very close to Signal Induna Park. Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff always happy to help.

Our stay was extremely pleasant! The hotel was very clean. The restaurant was good. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel!

Perfect

Very comfortably situated next to the fair grounds, so could leave the car at the hotel and walk up. Free parking until 12 hours after arrival. Good breakfast buffet. Fast and stable WiFi internet. Unfortunately limited restaurants at walking distance, but Strobel had perfect dishes and they accept credit cards. ( in German restaurants an adventure sometimes )

The beds are horrible two tiny beds squashed together with a tiny heavy comforter that makes you sweat like a pig falls off if turn over I complained to staff their answer this German style beds cannot do anything. No sleep 3 days glad to move out.

The location is right next to the fair which was convenient. On the other side of the hotel was a small nice garden and it was close to two bigger gardens which were nice. Other than that there wasn't much to do in walking distance. The hotel was okay, but definitely needs some updating. The pillows and sheets in the rooms were very old and iffy. The bar and pool were closed, the restaurant was open but there was no atmosphere there. No background music, nothing. It also wasn't possible to pay with card in the restaurant. We encountered this problem at multiple locations during our stay in Dortmund. It was like we were back in the 80s and paying with card was still strange or something. Breakfast buffet at the hotel was pretty good though. It wasn't a bad hotel, but from Mercure and for the price I expected more. (260 euros for 2 nights with breakfast)

Wir waren schon mehrmals in diesem Hotel und sind grundsätzlich sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist für Veranstaltungen in Dortmund oder für Messebesuch einfach ideal. Allerdings wird das Hotel aktuell teilweise renoviert. Dadurch gab es auch an einem Samstag bis circa 17:00 Uhr noch Baulärm im Haus. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und sind dann auf das Ergebnis der Renovierung gespannt.
