“Friendly exceptionally clean hotel with wonderful menu for dinner. Good wine list at friendly prices.
The bed was a medical grade mattress which was a bit too firm for us.
All in all a wonderful place to stay not far from Portugal Spanish border.
Listing did not say that whilst it was off a listed road it was not now the main road so was quiet.Hotel refurbished a year or so ago and is popular with locals always a good sign

“Så mysigt ställe vi var ensamma för det är ju lågsäsong , men vi fick så god mat med full service på kvällen fin lite frukost på morgonen. Trevligt med åsnor , hönor å en liten katt . Enkelt men så rent . ”

“Ficamos três dias e ocorreu tudo bem e tranquilo, o hotel é grande, espaçoso e está muito bem localizado dentro das muralhas de Almeida, com fácil acesso e muitas vagas para estacionar o veículo em frente ao hotel.
A vista também valoriza o local.
O melhor mesmo é o atendimento do Luís que nos recepcionou com total atenção, cuidado e gentileza.
A limpeza e o cheiro perfumado por todo hotel é bem agradável.

“We chose this for an overnight stop, with our pet furry friend, on our way from Santander to Portuguese Silver Coast. Pet friendly and self-catering appealed to us. The communication and the welcome to the lovely property, from Sandra, was exceptional. She went out of her way to show us the accommodation and walk us through the pretty village to the local restaurant, telling us a little about the place as we went.
