“Lots of gangs of kids hanging around, and not a safe feeling area. Property lacked basic things that you’d expect in a hotel. No one on site to contact to rectify things. Not a good place to stay. ”

“We booked this property as the picture on website looked nice. It said we would share bathroom only with people in our party, this was booked as non-refundable. We only book properties with en-suite usually but as said it would only be shared with our party. Once booking came through I checked the postcode and found that the property was down a private road which you could not view on google maps. “Beautiful accommodation very well equipped and presented. Set in a stunning location. We were very pleased to have selected Lackford Lakes Barns. Will visit again. ”

“The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped ( even a cafetiere ). Finding that there was a sofa bed was good. The approach along the stairs isn't wonderful, a bit drab and unloved but once in the apartment, all is good. There is some street parking right outside the Stratford and we were lucky and bagged a space, otherwise free parking nearby in other streets. ”
