"Great service with friendly staff. Central location in the old part of the city with some good restaurants and cafes in nearby streets. My only criticism was the floors were really creaky and the room was cool even with the split aircon turned to heat. The breakfast room was also cool and dark in the mornings."

"We enjoyed a wonderful two days at Matildas. The hotel was a wonderful refuge, especially the garden, and the vibe was relaxed and friendly. Macarena, at the front desk, was kind and thoughtful as she helped us with our early arrival. Her suggestions for travel around the city were helpful, and we went to two of the three restaurants she recommended (both were excellent). Although all of the staff were friendly, Macarena really stood out. We would definitely stay here again. "

"My partner and I stayed here for a week in February 2024. It's a lovely apart-hotel in a wonderful location. The area right around the hotel is a bit touristy, but quite comfortable and bustling. It's steps from a metro stop, a very short walk to a full grocery store, near plentiful restaurants and bars (La Mesita was excellent). The room was very nice: good kitchenette with everything you need, nice sized refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, kettle, etc. Comfortable and surprisingly quiet room....
