It's old downtown!
Don't be fooled by the word "downtown Dubai". It is old downtown area and you cannot see anything about what you think about Dubai. The hotel staffs are kind and helpful but the hotel itself too old. I did off the air conditioning all times due to its stink smell. Location is not bad with 7 min. walking to the Metro and shopping center.

올드 두바이 쪽을 여행하기에 위치가 좋고 지하철 역도 가깝습니다. 객실이 넓기는 하나 오래되다 보니 시설이 낡은 점이 눈에 많이 들어오더군요. 서비스는 쉐라톤계열인 만큼 깔끔하고 좋았습니다.

두바이에 자주 가는 직장인입니다. 적절한 가격대에서 가장 괜찮은 호텔 중 하나입니다. 방도 넓고, 호텔도 깨끗하고, 화장실도 괜찮습니다. 다들 렌트하시니까 느끼지 못하실 수도 있지만, 지하철도 바로 옆에 있어서 교통편도 좋습니다.

great experience. worth it.
5 min from the subway. big signboard which make me find this hotel easier. kind and nice front office people. room size is bigger that I thought. Shower booth is also enough to sink. There are full of "pros", but Only one "con" is there isn't slipper. Call the front office. They will be infront of your room with slipper in 5min.

절대 추천하지 않는 호텔
이 호텔을 예약했지만, 이 호텔에 묵지는 못했습니다. 체크인을 위해 호텔에 도착하니, 방이 없다고 sister hotel이라고 소개하며 다른 호텔로 데려다 주더군요. 같은 급의 호텔이라고 데려다 준 호텔은 정말 마음에 안들었습니다. 분위기가 어둡고 너무 로컬적인 호텔이었습니다. 방 구조도 이상하고 아침식사도 마음에 안들었습니다. 리뷰를 보니 역시나 평가도 낮더군요. 지금까지 20년동안 해외에 다니면서 많은 숙박을 했지만 이런 경우는 처음입니다. 일단, 방이 없다고 다른 호텔로 데려다준 경우 자체가 처음입니다. 비행기든 호텔이든 자리나 방이 없으면 차상위로 승급시키는 것이 기본인데, 오히려 더 안좋아보이는 호텔로 안내한 것 자체가 이해불가입니다. 혼자 비지니스투어로 갔었기에 망정이지, 가족과 같이 휴가라도 갔더라면 정말 난처할 뻔했습니다. 예약한 호텔에서 짐 바리바리 싸들고 다른 호텔로 쫒겨가는 가장의 모습을 보이거나, 얼굴 뻘개서 호텔직원에게 방 내놓으라고 싸우는 모습을 보게 되었을 테니까요. 제가 이 호텔을 선택한 이유는 쉐라튼계열이라는 점과 리뷰가 4점을 넘었기 때문인데, 서비스마인드는 완전 쓰레기군요. 일단 숙박객 많이 받아놓고, 싸게 예약한 숙박객은 다른 호텔로 보내는 식의 영업을 하는건 아닌가 싶습니다. 절대 추천하지 않습니다.

Conveniently located near the burjuman metro providing an easy link to visit places in Dubai. Bedroom and seating area was comfortable but the bathroom could do with a bit of a refresh

The property is well located. Close to the airport. The room was a bit small, but cozy. They are making improvements to the hotel. As was evident with the new windows, and a modern restaurant downstairs. The food was delicious!! My room had some paint peeling and some tiles missing in the modern, updated bathroom. So, theyre working on it. I could walk everywhere on the island. I even walked to the ferry and took that to Male for the day. I would stay there again. Theres no pool.or fitness room. The ocean is just 100 meters away. Turquoise bgreen beautiful water. Get up early and catch the sunrise!! Lots of mosquitos. So bring deet!

We have stayed at this property numerous times when it was a Four Points Sheraton. However on this occasion under the Majestic brand we have not had a good nights sleep as the hotel houses a club of some sort which blasts base until nearly 3-4am which makes sleep nearly impossible even on the 4th floor. Clearly soundproofing is lacking and when we have reported it we have been advised it is not a hotel run club and not in their control. Disappointing as one pays to stay at a hotel so one can get good nights sleep. Sadly I would not recommend this venue as the noise it unbearable even on the 4th floor. I asked for a higher floor but was assured 4th would be fine as was pre-warned by my family who stayed on a lower floor. Sadly quite disappointed and pleased to be leaving tomorrow.

Good hotel a bit away from tourist attractions with easy access to metro. Close to variety of restaurants. Had paid extra to include breakfast which was quite decent. A lot of variety with breakfast that includes good veg/Indian options besides the usual stuff.

Right place to stay for a tour around DUBAI
This hotel stay was very good in all aspects. Everything was almost near by distance 30-40 minute drive. Shopping malls, restaurants, etc. The staff were very helpful. Commendable service by Mr. Alex and the team.

Don't expect to get sleep in this hotel
There is a nightclub in the hotel on the ground floor bwhich they do not mention when making a reservation! We heard the noise (music, loud bass) to our room on the 3rd floor and asked if it would be possible to change the room. They moved us up to the 6th or 7th floor I believe but we could still hear the music. Additionally, the air conditioning in this new room was super loud and echoed through the walls to the bed so we had to sleep on the wrong end of the bed, as far away from the walls as possible. I could not recommend this hotel to anyone based on the noise during the night. The hotel is quite far away from the main attractions. There is a metro stop nearby but we ended up using taxi for almost everything as it still would have taken hours to reach the other side of the city. Taxis were no problem for us but keep this in mind in your travel budget if you end up booking this hotel. Breakfast was decent. The staff were helpful.

The hotel is about 15 mins taxi ride from airport.. a few shops nearby.. walkable distance to metro.. very friendly staff…we managed to get a high floor with a city view.. the only negative point is bathroom a bit old. Overall good stay

Overall the stay was good. Unfortunately there is a club downstairs that is open every night from 9 pm - 4 am. This is not advertised on the listing. I had to complain and move rooms due to the noise.

The hotel is okay, the location is fine but I had a terrible experience at the time of check in. I had booked my reservation 6 months ago from USA and I did get expedia confirmation on my reservation. But when I arrived at the hotel, the front desk and management refused to honor my reservation stating they dont see it in their system. They asked me to book again with their current room rates which was more expensive and for 4 people they gave a very tiny cramped room with one of us sleeping on the couch.
