Not worth it!
Old hotel, poorly maintained and definitely not 3 stars. Cleaning is not done properly, carpets are stained, bath tub is broken and bed covers are torn. Ask for non smoking room and you get a room with ash tray. When you ask to confirm it is non smoking the answer is it is but they cannot do anything if someone smokes! The cleaning and management staff are friendly but the ladies in the reception seem to be overwhelmed and not willing to serve the customers. If possible they try to ignore you. The whole property seems like a failing hotel which might be close any day...

Great location - if the price is right
Short weekend stay for leisure purposes. Hotel was very well located for the metro,airport and shops and free parking. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was good but I only had one meal there, and no breakfast. Room was sufficient in size and clean and the bed was comfortable. Free wifi was available but I had to keep logging in which was a little irritating. There is a nightclub (Indian style) but I did not hear any noise from it on the upper floor. No free water available but there is a mini bar. However, there is a supermarket very close by if you need anything. I would stay again if the price is right.

Book a better place if you can afford it
Was okayish I guess. Staff wasn't the most friendly or efficient. No training I don't think. Didn't like the fact that I had to leave my passport with reception. I've stayed in hotels in dubai before and I haven't had the need to leave my passport, they usually just take a photocopy of it. There plenty of room for improvement. Plenty.

Would not recommend
You get what you pay for. I made the mistake convincing myself that I would use this as merely a place to sleep. I've lived and visited Dubai for 5 years now. I can say this was the worst place I've stayed at. I checked out the day after my 6 night stay and moved to my usual hotels in the marina. The positive is its relatively inexpensive to hotels in downtown, the Palm or the marina. The negative is if you're used I staying at 3+ star hotels, not to mention 4 and above, this is unbearable. All the reviews about them wanting to keep your passport are true. Also they don't give you the room you paid for on Hotels.com. My room said it would have a balcony/patio. It didn't.

Economical night in Dubai
Stayed for one night and the neighbourhood was noisy during the late night, maybe because it was Thursday and Friday is a religious day. Still people talking at 3:00AM is unexpected. The hotel was extreme in it's regulation of mini bar abuse.

Rezeption war morgens immer freundlich, nach dem Personalwechsel Abends teilweise sehr unfreundlich. Zimmer waren in Ordnung, nicht besonders sauber aber auch nicht dreckig. Der Pool und das Fitnessstudio sehen auf den Fotos viel größer aus als sie sind. Es gibt einen Nachtclub mit 10 Tänzerinnen die Bauchtanz tanzen. Den Club hört man auch auf den Zimmer noch etwas (3. Stock) bis 3 Uhr. Nicht weit vom Hotel sind verschiedene kleine Restaurants und ein großes Einkaufszentrum. Alles in allem ok für den Preis aber insgesamt nicht umbedingt zu empfehlen.

Don't hand over your Passport..
Spent the night there on a layover. I was warned that they keep,your passport and decided to go ahead because I only needed the room for a few hours and it's located near Union Metro. Unfortunately when I went to check out I had to wait 15 minutes while the customer ahead of me begged for his passport so he could do some business in Dubai. The staff were unmovable. They would not give it to him even after he agreed to put down a deposit. Next thing security is surrounding the guy in case it's gets ugly. On principle they have no right to keep passports and in any event it's bad business. On that point alone I will not be back.

Worst Hotel Staff in Dubai
If you want an experience of getting into a prison that is how you will be treated by the reception staff. They told me that want an deposit as they want to be sure you don't steal anything from the rooms What? I had a chat with so many guests and all got treated the same. What a waste for good facilities? Hotels forget that people pay for hotels for service and not to serve time. The housekeeping frowns if you call them and Internet is only one device next is chargeable at exorbitant rates. Oh fellow travelers you got to experience this bad experience to develop a taste.

Mentiin hotelliin halvan hintatason vuoksi ja alussa oli ystävällinen henkilökunta ja siisti huone. Kuitenkin passin jouduin luovuttamaan tiskillä ja maksamaan etukäteen, myös luottokorttitiedot olivat ilmeisesti saaneet hotels.com:in kautta. Seuraavana päivänä siivousta ei ollut eikä sitäkään seuraavana. Kuitenkaan tämäkään ei vielä minua ja miestäni masentaneet vaan kun yht'äkkiä toisena iltana miestäni ei päästetty huoneeseen. "You are given only one passport." Tässä sitten hotellin respa, vartija ja johtaja eivät päästäneet meitä huoneeseen ennen kuin toinenkin passi oltiin luovutettu. Wlanin sanoivat olevan ilmainen mutta todellisuus oli taas toista. Ilmastointikone muistutti Lemminkäisen katujyrää ja siisteys oli heikkoa. Kaiken muun nielemme mutta todella surkeaa asiakaspalvelua en vaan voi kestää.

Good Hotel Poor Staff
Travellers with online bookings are looked down upon. The reception staff is very rude and is not welcoming. They want a compulsory deposit of 500 Dir even if you have prepaid the booking else they will hold your ID or passport. Logic they gave for this is that if you consumed any items from the fridge or you broke the TV or furniture. That is the welcome you get. Most of all they are rude and arrogant and treat you like a prisoner coming to a jail and not a guest to a hotel. Do you want to stay in such a place. Although the hotel is nice and clean. Choice is yours. I will not stay here again even if they give me a free stay.

Decent Hotel
Decent hotel for the price I paid. The hotel manager was really good. Despite of chargeable WIFI, he gave me a complimentary 12 hour wifi access which was really nice of him. The only bad thing is that the night club music which is audible even till the 5th floor. Overall, I would definitely come back to this hotel

Book at your own Risk
The rooms are comfortable and the locations is accessible to food, shopping and transportation. And near my school where I attend my training. That was the good part. The worst is booking this hotel online will not give you information of the actual situation. 1)They will require you to hand in your passport and it stays with the hotel until you check-out. 2)They will require you of marriage contract if you come as couple who are not married or of different Nationality. 3)Now if you are both there, not expecting this kind of situation, if you have no choice because you already paid online non refundable, they will suggest you take another room on normal rates. Its up for your guys what you will do with the extra room. For the reason that the Hotel is for "Family Only Hotel". Maybe there's nothing wrong with that - But please POST IT, so that people can know, and they wont have to be rob off by getting another room they wont need. 4)You can hear the door from other rooms slamming because people are actually switching rooms. 5)The displayed coffee and tea in the room are not complimentary, you have to pay for it. 6)The Reception seems to be in constant argument with the Clients. Bottomline, If you are cool and a constant traveller who have been through different hotels, this hotel with their "whats not and what is", will really disappoint you.

Dubai - Zain International Hotel
Čistota pokoje/hotelu: Na pokoji a v hotelu hezky čisto, bez problémů Kvalita služeb: Standardní. Personál ochotný vše vysvětlit. Magnetická karta k pokojům se musí dobíjet každý den na recepci, jinak se zablokuje a nedostanete se do pokoje. Vybavení hotelu: Standardní. Žádný luxus to nebyl, ale jak jsem psal výše, čistota a vybavení dostačující pro cestující baťůžkáře. Televize na pokoji, příjem místních programů. Wifi je zdarma pouze v lobby hotelu a v restauraci. Na pokoji se musí platit zvlášť, což nebylo předem úplně jasně specifikované. Poloha hotelu: Hotel se nachází v městské čtvrti Deira. Naštěstí v té čistší části. Kousek od hotelu je levný transport přes řeku (Bur Dubai 1aed) nebo stanice metra (Union 6aed 1 zona, 22aed celodenní). Na pláž to je daleko, je třeba jezdit složitě metrem. Plážovým povalečům bych tuto lokalitu nedoporučoval.
