Full of character, with good quality, tasteful furnishings. Lots of space, with a fabulous view from the top floor apartments. Very convenient to the beach and awesome cafes. A great spot to stay!

The area was fantastic. Just behind the hotel was a beautiful walkway along the beach and restaurants and bars. There are several steps to the front door and no lift, but it's very nice inside.

I loved my brief stay at Majestic Mansions, an historical building in the lovely St Clair. Very quiet, only the sound of the waves! Very clean - spotless - and very comfortable. Would have been enhanced by shampoo, conditioner but not a major problem. Would definitely stay again.

This was best described by another guest in conversation as "like you are coming home". Even though the building is old it doesn't feel like it but as a serviced apartment is just 'cool'. It is immaculately clean and excellently furnished. The size of the apartment is also very good as it feels like you are moving between rooms not just in an oversized hotel room.

Fabulous location, well equipped apartments

The Majestic Mansions provides spacious apartment accommodation minutes from the sea front in St Clair. Separate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and lounge room gives you all the space you need and all the equipment and appliances to be as self contained as you like. There are restaurants and cafes a stone's throw away and you'll be on the seafront in a minutes walk. Dunedin City is a short drive away providing lots to do and see. We were able to get the free undercover parking every time without effort which was a real boon. The only negative is the steps up from the street and internally if you are not on the ground floor. We were on the ground floor and steps were not a deal breaker for us.
