“시설은 낡았지만 시외 버스 정거장 바로 앞에 있어서 위치상 가장 좋았습니다. 워터포드 시내도 걸어서 5분거리 내에 있구요. 워터포드가 워낙 작은 곳이긴 하지만 짐을 들고 다니는 여행자의 입장에서 위치가 좋았어요. 그 외 시설은 아일랜드 별 세개짜리 호텔의 평균정도가 아닐까 생각합니다. 저렴한 가격도 좋았습니다.”

“It was good for the price. But to check in you have to call a number and wait. It doesn’t tell you that and the number is on the door so you can’t call early. Simeon from another location comes to let you in. Breakfast is do it yourself continental, not amazing. We are at The Pantry just a few places down, amazing. The lady that checked us in was nice. Room was small but worked. Bed slanted towards head so needed up sleeping opposite direction.”

“Stayed 1 night in a “deluxe” room, the experience started well with the unusual arrival via a short ferry and the drive through the private island, but sadly the luxury experience ended as soon as we had parked up and headed for check-in. “AC broke on the first hour there. Asked for a different room and was full and told to check tomorrow. Called five times to get the AC fixed and was told each time it would be. The next day I was told they would try fixing it again instead of moving me. Supposedly tried calling me later in the night for a switch. I tried calling reception twice on separate times with no answer. Checked out finally. Spent two days sweltering. Worst experience in my 5 days around Ireland so far.”

“Overall, we had a very good stay. The location is very convenient, especially for getting around, while the rooms were pleasantly quiet, which made for a relaxing stay. The breakfast booking was also a nice surprise in terms of value, although it could perhaps have been communicated a little more clearly that the full à la carte breakfast menu was included, as this was not entirely obvious to us at first. “Basic accommodation in a building separate from the pub. My room smelt a bit weird. The shower lacked vigour and could not be detached from the wall. The staff were good.”

“The grounds are amazing and the Castle is beautiful from the outside. We were not allowed to enter the castle because it was rented out for our entire stay. We stayed in the Lodges which would have been nice had some issues been addressed. First off the doors were left open when we got there, front and back, so we thought maybe we were in the wrong place. The hot water lasted 5 mins and never came back. “A absolutely beautiful place to stay. The house, room and everything is impeccable as pictured. Edna was our host and he is the greatest person. Breakfast was amazing as well. Definitely a great place spend some quality time.”

“Where do I even begin? From the moment I got there; I was treated like royalty. Staff was top notch. Pods are the coolest thing and such a wonderful experience. The Hottub and dry sauna are pristine. The pods are so nicely designed and super clean. Waking up to the country side was one of the most spectacular views ever. I should’ve stayed my entire week there and never left. I was so content and relaxed! I will definitely be back soon!!! I can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is!!! ”
