Great Location

Great location. This is right on the beach. Nice staff, but limited English. Breakfast was good. Bar drinks served on the boardwalk. Parking is limited so request a spot with your reservation.

Perfect Place

Great view of the North Sea, clean comfortable rooms, great service and on-sight parking. The breakfast was also very good. Conveniently located right on the beach.

Lovely hotel in Dunkirk

This is a stunner of a hotel right on the shore in Dunkirk. Lovely room and bar/lobby. Because we were on a roadtrip for F1 we had a car which was accommodated by the parking lot. (We had a Volvo XC60, and it was a bit of a squeeze even though not full, so best if you have a smaller car to maneuver.) Nothing but positive feedback and highly recommend staying at the Merveilleux.

Very nice atmospheric hotel on the beach, but the car park only takes 12, has to be booked in advance, and is a nightmare to find using sat nav. 2 addresses are given for this hotel and you need to use the Avenue Aboud address, not the Digue De Mer - that's the beach, the wrong place, and you'll be left at a barrier wondering what to do. Aboud works but when you get there down a tiny street you can't get in without the hotel being there to open the gate so best to phone ahead. There's nowhere else to park while you sort the entry unless you're lucky. Other than that, no criticisms. Very nice indeed.

Virkelig dejligt lille hotel lige ned til stranden. Supergod morgenmad af høj kvalitet. Vi besøgte museet for operation Dynamo hvor mere end 330.000 soldater blev reddet til England i 1940
