“Really lovely stay in Torchon. Perfect space for a couples getaway. Surprisingly well soundproofed. Nextdoor bar could be heard but not invasive at all. Slight downer was an issue with a leaking pipe causing the water and electricity to fail Sunday morning. Very impressive recovery! A large team were onsite immediately fixing the problem. Only a minor inconvenience that could have been much worse. Lovely room, comfy and everything we needed. Highly recommend ”

“Great location, clean room, fun decor, eclectic. Staff were friendly. I’d just like to recommend a tv guide to the channels. Something printed in the room. BBC was unexpectedly after the adult channels, high up on the listings, difficult to find.”

“I can’t believe this even until now, but there was mould on the duvet cover... Seriously? Yes. Fortunately the receptionist changed the duvet cover but still there was a hair on the mattress and the pillow. Better not to expect the cleanliness here. ”

“Overall stay was good, but will be ask for a £50 pending deposit but will be explained before entering the room about the use of entrance and room keys what the deposit is used for due to previous guest getting keys muddled up with the wrong doors and having to call a locksmith. The host explained the use of the shower by using a switch to get hot water and explained about just flushing toilet paper in the bowl instead of any sanitary products that may affect the deposit. “Rooms very spacious and immaculately clean, very well designed and definitely worth the little extra considering nearly purple palace was £160 a night because there was a show on, multi storey carpark a few mins walk away and motorpoint arena is about 5 mins walk so works great if your going to a show and want to make a night of it, would definitely recommend ”
