“great”

“Comfortable stay in quiet residential area. Kitchen could be better equipped. Listing says on-site parking - it doesn’t. Two parking permits are provided. Have to carry stuff from there to house up small path. ”

“I had a lovely overnight stay in the wel presented Willow Lodge. The room was immaculate and had some lovely touches from the owners. The location is stunning, you will not be disappointed. Slightly disappointing for me was the price for the electric vehicle charging. But would not be put off booking again..”

“Lovely proprietor. Cooked breakfast was great, a pity that on last day we couldn't have it because of staffing problem. Attractively decorated property”

“A handy spot in the center of town. Only discrepancy was a bunch of takeaway bags behind the door the cleaners missed, however it was no problem for me to put in the bin. Lovely rooms, comfy beds and bathroom was great. Staff were lovely and able to give a friendly chat and directions to the room.”

“Convenient location and comfortable room. The kitchen area was a bonus and the parking nearby was very handy (the website for the hotel has a discount code for the Q park next door for advanced booking). The croissants and coffee was good too. I would stay again”

“So so. Not much privacy. Wrongly listed - free parking ... parking was free but on road side, not within the premises of the property. 2 flats built in the back yards of a house. You go through the front yard of the house. Kitchen and another room of the house facing the flats.”

“Lovely hotel, friendly staff and warm comfortable rooms. Restaurant fare however was disappointing and overpriced for a hotel of this quality. Breakfast on the other hand was extensive and very good.”

“Big spacious rooms with enough room for a family of 4 in a room with 3 beds. Very clean and tidy and updated hotel. Bar on site was excellent, food was great...can get busy so book a table if you can.”

“Everything was fine and as expected When we arrived the receptionists said breakfast was included - I queried as was certain we had booked without. BUT I was told breakfast was included. Lo and behold when we went down for breakfast, we were not booked in… this was annoying given the assurances we were given at check in!”

“Very clean and large rooms”

“Good option for one night's stay, we had a Deluxe King room which was a decent size with a very comfortable enormous bed. The bathroom was drab and dated but a good size and perfectly functional. There was, however, a musty smell in the room and there was no way to open the windows in either the bathroom or bedroom to air the place which was frustrating. I would not want to be here in the summer as there was only a working desk fan and disconnected/not working ceiling fan.”

“Room was clean. Bit noisy being on the front of the building nearest the road.”
