โWe loved our stay at La Villa Retreat! Everything from the way we were greeted with a wine tasting our first night, to the beautiful grounds, to our well appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts made it a great stay. One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!โ

โAll the rooms are different but all are good-sized. Our room has double bathroom sinks, a large shower, a chaise lounge in addition to two armchairs. Very comfy. The breakfasts are excellent! Their so-called mini-continental is big enough to fill up most people: fresh baked muffin, croissant, fresh fruit, cheeses& meats, yogurt, juice, coffee. But you can also add eggs Benedict, omelette, shashuska, French toastโ all included!

โPlumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us.
