โGene and Elizabeth were amazing hosts. So inviting and friendly and helped with suggestions which all turned out to be great. Breakfast was top notch. Rooms are nice but walls are thin. Safe area and walkable into town. Highly recommend. โ
โI liked the room having a kitchen and laundry. We saved money by cooking our own meals and doing our own laundry. It was within walkable distance of town. I loved the little park with the whale statue and the boardwalk path. Staff was friendly and would get us extra supplies as needed. There was free transportation to the airport. It was a very comfortable stay!โ
โGreat staff, friendly and helpful, held luggage safely as we arrived early. Room was clean, all expected amenities. Brilliant, walkable location, and easy acces to services (concierge desk on the premises).โ
โThe building is very old (the oldest hotel in Alaska) but it was a great stay. I never had any issues. I couldn't open my window because I was on the 2nd floor and the building looked to be built into the mountain so there was a lot of foliage right outside my window, but they provided a box fan. There was a Daddy Longlegs spider on the ceiling but I left him alone and he left me alone. I would stay here again.โ
โGreat location 11 minutes from Juneau airport. Friendly, helpful staff. Great shuttle service to airport, even at 3:30am! Breakfast offering could be better (protein bars and instant oatmeal). A little pricey. โ
