The room was very spacious, comfortable bed, wonderful view of the harbor and many restaurants nearby. Our excursion picked us up at the museum behind the hotel so it was very convenient.
It's an older building, lacking A/C as many or even all buildings in Juneau however the windows in our room didn't open all the way, maybe only 4 inches. It was hot outside so the indoor temperature was unbearable day and night.
Convenient downtown location that allows for easy access to the capitol. Wide spacious room with plenty of space to stretch out. Breakfast is not included, but there is an attached restaurant with plenty of options. Overall, a great location to stay while exploring the downtown Juneau area.

Rooms were very hot during summer, no hot water for morning showers and hair ball in shower - so not a good experience

Great convenient location for exploring Juneau. The hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired considering the price relative to the surrounding hotels of similar quality. The manager at the front desk was not terribly welcoming and always seemed to have an attitude when approached with an inquiry. We lost hot water the only night we stayed there and were credited back $27. Would have loved to say stay here but definitely overpriced even if you get hot water. Not much options in Juneau so do your research!
~10 min. easy walk to downtown area and meeting point for most tours
Adjacent to the State Museum
Quiet area with nice views of the bay
A little pricy for 3 stars hotel
This is an older property that provides a decent, clean room at a fair cost. Both ours and our traveling companions rooms had problems with the hot water. Without us saying anything, the manager provided us with complimentary breakfasts at their restaurant. The food and service was excellent!
The hotel is in a nice location. Easy hiking path access. The breakfast was delicious. I gave 3 stars because our initial room was in the basement and had a wet mold smell. Be sure you are not booking a ground level room.
I can say that Iโd stay here again. By far my best hotel experience in my life. Iโve stayed in top of the line 4 and 5 star hotels but what I loved the most here were the beds, towels and above all the restaurant. In the five days I was there every meal was delicious and the quality of the food preparation and cooking was excellent. The only thing better than what Iโve explained was the employees. Top job Doug. Bummed I didnโt get to talk to you and share these things with you. Again, mahalo and aloha! Lance Ho, KTN., AK
The beds are so comfy. I enjoyed the accessibility to shopping, downtown, restaurants and the waterfront boardwalk. The staff are very accommodating and considerate. Would recommend to friends and family and stay again!

I paid $355+ to stay one night. Relatively inexpensive for Juneau I guess. But:
1. There was NO hot waterโฆ.seriously.
2. I could get 3 channels on the TV
3. The facility is old and shows its age.
The bed was comfortable at least.
Even the cheapest motel has hot running water!
