“We loved our brief stay at the Queen’s. My husband had been taken ill on arrival in Lerwick and we had to change our plans to let him rest up. We booked last minute and were surprised to be able to still choose a twin room with sea view. The sea literally lapped outside our window and the view was stunning. “The hotel was close to a bus stop which for me was great as I don't drive. It was about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Lerwick and it involved walking up a few hills but it was possible to get a bus from the hotel. The hotel its self was clean and comfortable. I ate at the hotel every evening of my stay as there was no nearby restaurants. The food was very nice but very expensive I would recommend getting a bus to and from the airport as its so much cheaper than the taxis, which were...

“It was our first time in Shetland and from the day we arrived the staff could not have done anything more for us they went over and above to help us with places to go things to see .
