"I stay at a lot of 5 star resorts when vacationing, but the owners of this resort have taken luxury to another level. The quality of service is second to none I have experienced, the food is Michelin star quality and the rooms and decor is impressive. The owners have done an amazing job at operating this resort. "The beach is wonderful! Views are fantastic! No cruise ships docking! Really nice pool and bar. The 1748 restaurant was very good with a wide selection of dishes. For such a great property I was very surprised at the reception desk which is a small hut at the entrance to the property. There is no concierge desk as such. No personnel to give you advise on local attractions etc. the majority of the staff gave the impression that they didn’t want to be there! In my opinion the staff let the resort down. "
