I had a great time there. Everything there was cosy and fantastic including small vinery. Especially the staff member at this hotel was very kind. If I had a chance to travel there, I will choose this hotel again.

Luxurious B&B, very tranquil, clean, quiet, nice modern rooms. Belgian beers & wine available at democratic prices. Owner couple runs this B&B and have gradually expanded it over the past 12 years to now 15 rooms. We stayed in the Superior Room type which seems try largest one and is the size of a studio with separate sitting area. Breakfast served in common area but otherwise no restaurant on-site. Biking and walking trails nearby. Highly recommended for a quiet stay near Dendermonde.

Hazy day, beautiful stay in Abalona. Friendly reception, beautiful room, quiet environment, good bed, lovely breakfast. We liked the Appelsveer restaurant just a few blocks away

Destaco la atención de la recepcionista, muy cálida en todo momento y atención personalizada. La habitación de lujo, limpia, cómoda y una cama espectacular. El desayuno con productos de primera calidad. Sin dudas recomiendo este hotel.

Dendemonde trip
Inge is a great host, taking an interest in her guests and being flexible with breakfast times to suit their requirements. Something that an impersonal hotel - where you are just another number - would struggle to match.

Honeymooners relaxation
Wonderful place to stay during holidays to clear mind and stay away from the city noise. we stayed at abalona for 3 nights during our honeymoon and it was fantastic, we enjoyed the modern atmosphere in and out of the room, breakfast was delicious and the room was wide and comfortable. 5 stars for this place (maybe if there was a small restaurant in it)

Nice and clean with good service
Very nice hotel in the small village of Dendermonde 30 minutes drive from Brussels. Very good service and room was clean and newly renovated. Large room with anazing bath. WiFi worked well and free parking. Breakfast was ok, we enjoyed our stay, need car to be here but perfect when visiting Brussels instead of using city hotels with very expensive parking. Rekommended.

Great Boutique Hotel Especially for the Price
This a a nice modern boutique hotel. I liked absolutely everything about it ... and, on top of this the price was very reasonable. Things that especially stood out: (1) Inge, the owner, is very helpful; (2) rooms and bathrooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable, and the beds are really great (nice sheets, great pillows); and (3) the breakfast was wonderful and served with a gourmet feel. The only negative is that the rooms in front are a little noisy.

Highly recommended!
My wife and I stayed 1 night at his hotel as a stop point to a trip to Brussels. A small and very charming Dendermonde downtown is 8 minutes drive away from the hotel, where restaurants can be find easily. Room was very clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel is located in countryside atmosphere, so it is very quiet and relax. Only drawback I saw was regarding room temperature. It was a bit cold at the beginning, but OK after 30 minutes of heater operation. Stunning breakfast! Free parking. We´d return very likely to this hotel!

super verblijf hier .. totale rust . zeer mooie deluxe kamer ( kamer 4 ) met balkon, geweldige slaapcomfort / badkamer en heerlijk uitgebreid vers ontbijt. Echt een verborgen pareltje tussen antwerpen en gent in , ideaal gepositioneerd tussen deze twee steden. 30 min rijden van Antw of Gent. vergeet de dure hotels in de stad je zit er zo! Alles ziet er zeer schoon uit , luxe en modern uit. Gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk
