It was an unpleasant experience.
The reception staff said that no reservation for my name. She asked for confirmation so I showed her the confirmed mail from hotels.com.
She did not even check it properly and she was irritated by saying, "How do I know Chinese?"
(In fact, it was Korean. Calling all Asians to Chinese is racism. And Netherlandic language was listed together in the mail as you know.)
Finally, she explained that the reservation was omitted due to computer error, and never said sorry.
