East Tyrol, Tyrol hotel rooms at the Independent

The room was spacious and clean. We had a little difficulty right after checking in, but everything ended up fine and one day this event will be funny. We left our luggage and car keys in our room and then went to eat. When we returned from eating, our card key would not work. We could not get in touch with the leasers, but when we contacted Hotels.com, the issue was worked through quickly. We were issued a new key and everything else went smoothly. The key issue wouldn't have been a real issue...

The girl at reception was very friendly and helpful. She took us to our room and was clearly proud of the hotel and what it offered. The hotel construction, furnishings and décor reminded us of stays we have had in castles and manors. Warm and inviting rooms, and the amenities were like those provided by much more expensive hotels. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to others.

The whole resort experience at Gradona is quite fanatic. The dining, the spa, the surrounding area. Well done. Excited to return someday.

Such a charming place in the quiet town of Sillian. The dinner was spectacular—everything was just perfect. I had the best tiramisu of my life! Breakfast was great as well, and I especially enjoyed the local honeycomb. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived on a rainy night after an exhausting hike, and it felt so nice to be warmly welcomed into such a cozy place. We’d definitely stay here again!

This New Hotel has all the amenities many older Hotels in Europe don’t. Very nice room and good location. Thank you!

We absolutely loved this hotel. It’s amazing! The rooms are really beautiful, the food is great, and the staff is so nice. We loved the pools, playground and beautiful view. We highly recommend the hotel.

A Truly Exceptional Stay One of the best hotels we've ever experienced. From the unbeatable location to the impeccable service, every detail was thoughtfully curated. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the overall vibe made our stay nothing short of perfect. We left feeling relaxed, pampered, and already dreaming of our next visit.

The suite contained separate bedroom, kitchen/living area w fireplace, bathroom w sauna, and water closet. The living and bedrooms each had a bay window overlooking the town of Matrei in Osttirol, charming is an understatement. The restaurant served probably one of the best steaks I ever had in Europe and the staff were all very friendly and helpful to us American travelers. Our only regret was not staying more than one night.

Location was excellent . Easy check-in, receptionists were terrific. Excellent breakfast with great hours.

Amazing hotel in a wonderful little town. Staff are excellent, helpful, friendly and feel like family staying here. Beautiful facility with lovely spa right on a river with amazing Mountain View’s. Wish we stayed longer.

New hotel. While they are working out the kinks, and the hallways and basement area between the garage and wellness center could be better designed and less industrial/cold, the hotel has great rooms, a great spa and pool area, and a great restaurant. Not truly ski-in/ski out, but only a short walk to the slope.

I have to say that staying in hundred of hotels around the world, that our stay at Lederer’s was amount the absolute best. Especially the service - most friendly and helpful owners / operator that really enjoys helping their guests! Beautiful area, modern and comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and nice place for drinks in the evening. Couldn’t be happier with our stay (would rate 6 stars if I could! Also great location centrally located with lots of outdoor recreational activities....
