As always the rooms are impeccably clean and tidy. The windows could do with some refurbishment as they are a bit drafty in places, apart from that no issues. Will stay again.

The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The furnishings and decorations need updating and the shower fan in the bathroom in room 324 was very exceedingly noisy. Ideal town and surrounding area and hotel as a base for a short break.

Great location, in front of the beach with complete sea view and close to the pier and downtown. The staffs could be more friendly with smile. Especially reception desk gave us cold impression. The full English breakfast was delicious. The room was good, however, using the shower was difficult to get hot water.

Had a pleasant stay in York House hotel they have a nice Veranda. We can sit in the Sun or the shade and have a pleasant drink looking at the beach. parking is reasonable as they have permits and there is also free on street parking just around the corner.

The hotel looked tired and dated. The view was excellent, The windows rattled in the wind, Parking was variable when we first arrived we parked outside the hotel, but when we arrived late one evening we struggled to find a space, eventually parking about a 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast did not have a good choice of fruits but the cooked food food was fine. The evening meals were good.
