"An older motel with a very nice and spacious room. Very clean. Staff was so nice. Missed the 1-7 time for the water park but it looked fun"

"After 14 hours of driving from California we decided to stop and rest for the night here and give it try , but how disappointed our stay was , first of all the stuff wasn’t very good helpfully at all, secondly we chose a non smoking room and when I opened up the room it was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke,so I when to the front desk and let them know all they said was sorry It was raining and cold with no where to find a parking spot closed to our room, we had a rooftop bags and to go from far away all the way to the second floor it was terrible, to make it worse the rain made it worse, we asked for a closer room but no luck. This hotel offers full breakfast but how disappointing too , the next morning before we check out we decided to eat something before heading to our destination and another disappointing , we were 4 people in our party and there was only coffee for 3 I keep ringing the bell to let them know and no one came out until we almost finished eating , I don’t recommend this Hotel at all save your self a disappointment,"

"I was very disappointed in the facility and the room. I was caught off guard when SAM told us we should look at the room that I had reserved which is on the second floor to make sure that it was what I wanted. I thought that that was odd. But since they didn’t have an elevator and I recently had knees replaced I wanted a first floor one so we got two queen bed room. We only ate one breakfast at the facility in the five days we were there and it was lukewarm at best and the sausage was hard. The other days we went at 7:30 and food was gone or very little left and one day the waffle maker machine had broke open and was all over the floor and no one was around to clean it up, but there was a sign saying caution. We had not planned to eat breakfast out every day that we were there. On day three I woke up and the sheet had come off of the mattress and that is when I found a HUGE brown stain that went from the top to the bottom of the mattress on the outside. I then found the smoke detector in one of the dresser drawers with no battery in it. When I informed SAM about these room issues along with a dripping faucet his response was “OK thanks”. No apology no offering to get a refund of some sort, etc.."

"For Memorial Day weekend, we decided to stay at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas (NM)..! :) The city is one of our favorite destinations in the state, and we love taking the scenic route (Hwy. 104) from Tucumcari to get there! :) It was our first time to stay at the Plaza. Many celebrities have stayed there, and you can read about each one throughout the hotel. (We discovered that the Plaza was used to shoot scenes for the movie, "No Country for Old Men.") The hotel has a bar and a (separate) restaurant that serves excellent food! Our room had a tall ceiling and a long window (with custom curtains) that gave the room a modernized yet luxurious feeling! The staff was also helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again..! :)"

"I lost my wallet here, and since I was making a round trip I stopped in after my trip to ask about it and they had it and had never bothered to call me. I felt that was extremely unprofessional and not having my ID or bank cards I was stranded hundreds of miles from my bank and had little in the way of options."
