"We chose this hotel because it was affordable and in a good location. However, once we checked in we were very surprised that is had received good reviews. The entire property was in poor condition and not clean or well-maintained - including a murky, green swimming pool that was not useable. We were very disappointed and would never stay there again. "

"It was ok for what I needed but they did not provide cleaning service unless we paid extra. If we had garbage in the room it was “self service”. They state they are not your average hotel in a paper after you check in but I didn’t see this info when I booked the room ahead of time. "

"When we are in town, we always stay at The Westin Tempe. The hotel is well maintained and the entire staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance."

"Check in is after 3pm. However when i got there at 4pm the front desk girl said that they're would be a 25m wait unit my room was ready...r u serious? Yes she replies, there were short staffed. But i saw 4 cleaning ladies doing rooms. So how could they be short staffed considering they had all day to clear and clean rooms. I asked if any other rooms were available and she replied i'd have to charge you extra...what? No, so i waited when i came back 25m later. I still had 2 wait anther 10m. The front desk girl was rude and unaccomdating to other guest about a late check out since she too had to wait 25m as well. After that was settled the evening was fine. "

"Check in was a nightmare, a kiosk where a man with a very thick accent attempted to direct me on check in. His words were being close captioned and even the captioning couldn’t understand him. At one point it said he was talking about Pokeman and something about a black mask. It was seriously aggravating. After several minutes he told me my key was below in the machine. It was not. Eventually someone came out from the back, opened the machine and spent several minutes trying to reload the key cards. When I finally got to my room it appeared clean. There were several long dark hairs in the bathroom. The bedding was fine but the beds themselves were lumpy and very uncomfortable as were the pillows. The tv turned on but every station stated the signal was too weak or unavailable. The air conditioner was effective but loud. I would never stay here again and would advise anyone thinking of stay to reconsider. "

"The olace had little bugs. The shower leaked and the check in process was horrible. One of the electric plugs by mirror did not work. No hair dryer. Awful experience. "

"This property is new, the front desk was not professional at all but after that everything is nice, there are restaurants around that you can walk to. "
