“This is my second time staying here at the Hitching Post. The room I got this time was with a king size bed and a kitchenette which I did not expected but definitely a plus. My partner and I really liked the location and it's close to nearby restaurants and shops. The only minor critique I have are the bed sheets, they felt like paper. Suggestion to the property owners, the shower needs a plastic curtain lining behind the fabric one because it absorbs too much shower water and leaks out onto the...

“This has all of the makings of a great hotel - convenient location, nice pool, big rooms, friendly and helpful staff. However the bathroom was dated and could use a deep clean, there wasn’t hair or dirt but there was some rust in the shower and the worst part was the non-functioning bathroom fan - it was hot and unpleasant when sharing with famiiy. The red of property looked to be well maintained. My family and I really enjoyed the pool during our downtime.”

“Clean and quiet. Beds are comfortable. Various food options near the hotel. On-site parking is easy. Quick access to nice beaches including Steamer's lane, Pleasure point, and Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Hot tub is hard to be a big advantage, too small and no view. Overall, deserves a high score.”
