“Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. ”

“Lovely simple but stylish decor, a little tired and in need of a refresh. But overall would recommend and was perfect to meet our needs.”

“We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. ”

“Stayed for a couple of nights at this property, and it was perfectly suited for our needs. Good, clear communication with the owners from booking, and very helpful in making sure everything was right for our stay. Would definitely recommend this for families or small groups as an ideal base camp for visiting Manchester, and will be keeping this property in my saved list for the future too.”

“really comfortable stay - the cottage is cosy but has high ceilings so no banged heads and it doesn't feel cramped. beds really comfy. fantastic location - amazing walks from outside the front door. lovely pub in the village down the hill. and the owners run the tea room next door so left us a lovely plate of cakes on arrival! ”
