“Brilliant place, great staff. Lovely little house.”

“The room was far too hot. There was a thick winter 13 tog duvet on our bed ( and it was June weather) my husband asked for a blanket and sheet so the cleaner took away duvet but only left a sheet no blanket, so we were then cold on our second night and had to put our light raincoats on ourselves to keep warm:( The bed was far too small with it being a small double. Suggest you get smaller bedsize cabinets thsn the chunky ones and invest in a wider king-size bed for comfort for guests!”

“This was another great Expedia find. If you’re accustomed to the Ritz, this would not be quite what you’re looking for, but it’s a solid place to sleep and shower, and you can’t top the quality of the people who work here. A most affordable place to stay that’s right in the heart of the city. My only real problem was spotty WiFi. Loved it here, especially the people.”

Terri was a wonderful host full of local knowledge. Would highly recommend. Crosscombe was a lovely village with a great pub serving good food. There was a bar at the b and b.”

“Called for one while exploring the Somerset Levels. Perfect location for managed to book the last room, this was the largest of all the rooms available comfortable, clean & very spacious. The propriter was very welcoming on arrival and made us tea to take in the rear.”

“Had a great stay here after a last minute decision to stop over in Glastonbury. The family room was perfect for my husband, myself and our 5 year old with a very large space and comfy beds in a well decorated and clean room. It also had a fan which was appreciated on a hot day. The staff were really friendly and made a big fuss of our boy. We had dinner in the pub and the children’s meal included ice cream in the price which made him very happy! “Beautiful hotel. Lovely rooms. Food is delicious . Best of all was the lady hotel manager who sorted an early breakfast for us and upgraded our room. ”

“Had a wonderful couple of nights at 8 Owls in Glastonbury. Lilija was super responsive and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and the location next to the High Street and all the shops was great for us. Loved all of the Owls and other details around the property and the terrace at the top was a great bonus. Would definitely stay again.”

“Room was pleasant but was not serviced on second day. Cooked breakfast was reasonable but there was no cereal to start with nor toast and jam to follow. One cup of cofee only which was served 30 minutes before the cooked meal arrived on the second day. Mains were good but starters and sweet menu was limited and fairly expensive. Overall we were not unhappy but would not have wanted to stay for a third night and would be question if we would use this chain again if this is typical of all their...
