“Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. “Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us. We felt so welcome here - the kindest, most welcoming people, and very cosy, spotless, pretty rooms, with welcome baskets of much-appreciated snacks. Very comfy, quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed. We will definitely stay again on our trips to visit family locally.”

“Great find. Would love to stay again in the Summer and explore the grounds. Natalie was so welcoming, helpful, nothing was too much of a problem. Mike/Mick (night porter) was also friendly and helpful. Great view from dining room over the gardens. We had a four poster bed but found it uncomfortable. The bedroom was lovely and the spa bath was great. A short walk to the High Street where there were a number of pubs if you didn't want to stay in the hotel. ”

Our room had been recently redecorated and was in pristine condition, good and comfortable bed, bathroom a little on the small side but perfectly fine.
