"Fab continental breakfast but only cooked breakfast offered was full English with no other choice sadly ( like Eggs Benedict ( for example). Reception staff really good, professional, warm and helpful, bar food very good but bar decor very dark for a small room. Room very good and gardens superb. Special mention to very interesting paintings adorning public areas. Great hotel"

"Room was tired and need refresh, cracked decor. Beds were clean. Light pollution from garden into room, lack of decent curtains. No breakfast during weekdays, did not bother with weekend. Noisy environment from pub and landlord’s flat next to room. Would not recommend."

"We were welcomed by friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us. The room was spacious, clean & very comfortable. We enjoyed use of the fishing lakes and a delicious cooked breakfast each morning. "Golf links was well equipped and very toasty,it was generally very clean but the oven racks and trays needed cleaning which did let it down,the other slightly annoying thing was one of the double beds was made up as a twin ….whereas on the description it says it’s a double unless asked to be made up as a twin as we were only there three nights we didn’t bother to ask someone to change it.two minor issues which wouldn’t stop us from booking again."
