โLovely, friendly staff. Only complaint about stay, there were only two sheets of toilet roll in the bedroom bathroom. Had to use our tissues from our car.
Had a nice meal in restaurant. Good selection. Pork dish had to be sent back as meat pink in middle. Not ideal. But fish delicious.
Will be back if in that area again. โ
โFor a three bedroom (sleeps six) cottage this is great value. It's generally in satisfactory condition. OK, the garden and cottage could do with sprucing up a bit but it's a good place to stay. There is plenty of car parking space around the back, and a large village (Kelsall) two miles awayโ
โStayed here for 2 nights. We had room 8. Very large, spacious room. Some updating could be done, however, everything did the job. Pool was good size and had a small area for toddlers. Only complaint we had was the room was very hot. We stayed during the heatwave, so expected warm weather, but the only opening window was in the bathroom, and upon arrival the towel heater in the bathroom was switched on. If traveling with toddlers please check this, because it is extremely hot and can be a burn...
โThe wall hill farm guest house was ideal for our stay , everything was to our liking. The 2pm check in time was perfect and made a pleasant change, made us feel we had a full day on arrival then able to walk to the nearby restaurants for evening meal โ
