Towards Kilduff Hill This track is metalled throughout its length and I wonder if at one time it may have been a through road to the B1343? It now has a secure padlocked gate just where it leaves the road at drem. The hedgerows had lots of Blackbirds in them.

Winter crops, Drem Sadly the acreage of stubble in East Lothian decreases every year. Hopefully for our wildlife, the market for malting barley holds up. That is usually planted after the winter.
