Had a great stay at the hotel. The checkin staff was super nice, room was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect right next to transportation hub and walking distance from many restaurants and local attractions.

Overall a good hotel with great breakfast buffet to kick-off the day. If anything lacking, its the location. No views whatsoever. 7-10 min via walking to get to areas of interest.

Loved this location. a 15 minute walk or so from the heart of Edinburgh. The rooms were well appointed. I travelled with my son and nephew, both over 20 and we needed somewhere to stay for two nights. This was one of the few locations which could accommodate us in one room. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Definelly would stay there again.

Positive thoughts first - good location, close enough to walk to Princes Street. Decent sized car park behind hotel, the cost of which is reasonable. Beds were comfortable. The hotel is tired and needs some of the finer details upkept. The windows/glass surfaces were filthy. The common areas need addressed, peeling paint, obvious patchwork has been done, not adequately though. Cracks and chips on various surfaces throughout. The noise was also an issue, not only from outside but also from the pipework when adjacen rooms were using facilities. For the price paid, would not recommend. On check out, we weren't even asked if we enjoyed our stay, maybe for the best.

Great location near Haymarket tram station and bus stops, very nice rooms baths etc. lots of cafes and restaurants around. Staff was helpful. Buffet breakfast a bit intense and crowded. Highly recommended.

Hotel was average, it wasn’t the cleanest and was quite outdated. The staff weren’t particularly helpful or accommodating. Our bed sheets were changed by housekeeping during the day and had a stain on itwhen we arrived back despite them being fresh. We called reception to let them know and politely asked if they could be changed, upon this a member of staff arrived at the door and handed us sheets to change it ourselves. We asked nicely if they could do it for us and after some back and forth they were able to change it but were rude and reluctant to do so- it was incredibly awkward whilst we waited! Wish the staff were a little more friendlier and helpful. Despite this, it’s a great location to walk to the city centre

The room size was perfect and the beds were super comfortable, clean and adequate for our needs. The disappointment was with shower and TV which was not displaying definition nor colour. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of choice and helpful staff.
