Still waiting for my deposit to be returned. I realize that the maid must report any damages, but when there are none the deposit should be returned same day.

Despite confirming my arrival, modify was in the front desk, the phone number given did not answer and the messages were all full. Another number I looked up did not answer. People I saw looked like Street People. There was a plastic half empty chocolate dairy drink on the welcome table next to the artificial flowers. Some oriental men playing a game in the “closed” restaurant off the lobby said they were not connected to the hotel. I was appalled.

Lots of Issues.
Would not recommend staying here. This would be a 1 star review but the lady at the front desk for our check in was very nice and friendly. Everything else has been terrible. I stayed on the top floor in an executive room. The fan in the bathroom didn't work, cold water in the sink wasn't working properly, hotel directory hasnt been updated in 8+ years, bed didn't have a proper sheet on it, and the top sheet used had purple stains on it. Trying to call the front desk from the room was futile, no one ever answered. So I walked down to the front and various floors and no staff were to be found anywhere. Had to call the hotel's mainline and they were of no help either, just told me to wait for housekeeping to come around. Very unhappy and will not be staying here again.

Short staffing, wait someone to show up to check us in more than 30 mins. Cancelled second time stay. Most important is we booked two bed online, when we get there, the staff told us there are out for two beds, ask us to pay 20 dollars extra to get what we want. Not once but twice. And staff attitude was very rude. We will never stay there.

The wifi password didn’t work and no garbage bin in the room. No restaurant available on site. Just a place to sleep literally.

When I first drove up, I was skeptical. The surrounding area around was poorly kept. The outside of the place was quite dirty. Windows, doors, floor. I booked on line through Hotels.com, fully expecting someone to be available for check-in. No one around, the phone number provided had a full mailbox. I had to go to the place next door who called a security guard who tried to check me in and couldn’t, who called someone else. Finally, a lovely young lady arrived and was able to get me checked in. The add said breakfast available, however no restaurant on site. Except a phone order option. The saving grace was that I was given an immaculately clean room with two Queens and all the other amenities. I was concerned about vandalism, so was given a room overlooking the parking lot where I could see my vehicle. The place has one Security guard which is somewhat of a deterrent. I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness of the surrounding areas. The fee could have been a little lower to compensate.

Extremely poor hotel and service
This by far was the worse hotel I have ever seen, and experienced, the customer service shuts at 9pm, the whole floor smells with cigarettes, bunch of people at the front were also smoking and yelling shouting, swearing, wonder why the front desk was all enclosed, I’m guessing for security reasons. This hotel should not exist

Our front desk is open on a limited hours right now, due to previous pandemic issue we had, but we are looking for a regular shifting schedule with our front desk staff in the next few weeks. This motel is a nice place to stay, staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nicely renovated and clean. It is in an area of and older part of west Edmonton, but the owner and staff try very hard to make you feel comfortable. I would stay there again.

The rooms were recently renovated but still smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The rooms were not overly clean and the hotel seemed to be frequented by questionable people. I did not feel overly safe with the kids there. Grace at the front desk was amazing and almost made up for the bad stuff

We have a no smoking policy indoors and have designated smoking areas outdoors which are 10 meters away from the lobby doors. Anyone smoking inside the hotel are issued a fine, and or eviction. Our housekeepers clean and disinfect our rooms using commercial grade hospitality chemicals and disinfectant machines. We are glad our staff has given satisfactory service during your stay with us. Should you be in the area again, please do stay with us again to provide a more satisfactory experience on your next reservation.

Arrived after 10 pm. No sign of any staff present, and the doors to the hotel were literally padlocked. Only way in to the building seemed to be through the bar/casino/VLTs. We opted not to do that with our two kids. Definitely not family-friendly.

If you can spend the extra money on a better place I would. I think I had the only nonsmoking room in the whole hotel. But smoke would waft through hallways, elevators, and stairwells(not just tobacco smoke). Only half the amenities in the room worked excluding blow dryer, and bathroom fan. The tv was bolted so tight to the wall you couldn't hook up any devices. And they make you pay up front and then refuse to reimburse you if you stay less nights than you. I had to call hotels .com to get the hotel to refund my credit card. Definitely would not stay here again even to save a few bucks.

In regards to the amenities that were dysfunctional in your room, we were open to move you to a different room upon check-in. During each hotel guests' check-in, we ask each of our guests on how their room is upon check-in, and do our best to make your stay a pleasant one. Upon check-out, front desk notified us for the adjustment of your stay and have returned your unconsumed nights payment, as well as deposit. From the rate given by Expedia for your stay with us, it is one of the lowest rates for our executive floor rooms. Should you have any concerns or queries you wish to share about during your stay, please do call our hotel directly to correct actions.

WORST HOTEL STAY EVER
This was by far the worst hotel experience of my life. Not only did i not get sleep due to the walls being punched kicked or hit. The yelling and screaming that started around 10PM didn't stop till 7am. Early on it was alright around 10 we figured we would let it slide and fell sleep. From 130AM onward it was not. We called the front desk. We called the manager and got nothing. I almost called 911. THen when we go to check out i asked for a refund and they called me a LIAR. No one else heard the noise so i must of made it up.... Needless to say DO NOT STAY HERE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont waste your money.

Upon investigation of your claims, between 10 PM to 7 AM, based from our surveillance systems, there was no such noise, as per your description, picked up on the executive floor of the hotel. During each hotel guests' check-in and check-out, we ask each of our guests on how their room is upon check-in and how their sleep was when we see them & upon check-out. Our front desk agent reported to us the day you have checked-out, regarding your concerns and we started investigation. The following morning of the night of your stay, we have received positive feedback from the guests in the rooms adjacent to yours, upon their visit to the front desk. Front desk hours are from 9 am to 12 pm, continuing operations from 4pm to 10pm. The manager on duty had not received a call from you that specific night or time of day. We have refunded your security deposit, accordingly in full. From the rate given by Expedia for your stay with us, it is one of the best and rare rates for our executive floor rooms. Should you have any concerns or queries you wish to share about during your stay, please do call our hotel directly to correct actions.

Lovely
I had a great stay at the hotel. Grace at the front desk was AMAZING! She went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable, and is literally the face of the hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and quiet for sleeping and the food was great!

Wi-fi was slow and most of the time cut off. Shower bar and curtain in room broke and dropped in the tub. Had to move rooms so that was addressed. Good location but neighborhood extremely sketchy. Hotel is very dated especially the lobby and hallway. No includes breakfast of any kind. Called operator twice dialing and both times did not pick up. No HD TV. Beds were extremely comfortable, though.

The staff were great and very friendly. But the area of town was a bit sketchy and was not comfortable going outside. or leaving my car in the parking lot.

Easy access, reasonably priced relaxed motel, friendly customer service, secure entrances, which stop non motel patrons from aimlessly wandering around the hallways. Neighbourhood is a bit sketchy but I felt safe. The one thing I didn't like was, they tend to put families with babies & children on the same floor as we were on. I casually mentioned it to the front desk personnel and they offered to move us up one floor to the 4th floor without additional cost. I would definitely stay again.

The staff was very friendly, but the guests staying above us were incredibly loud. They kept us awake despite the ac on and a white noise machine playing. We had to call down to the desk 3:00 am and were advised a security guard would go up, but this didn’t solve the issue.

Good value for the price
Overall good experience, the hotel looks much better on the inside than on the outside. Parking was no problem, breakfast was nice (eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancakes and french toast) however no fruit or vegetables. Room was nice and clean.
