Late for check in, I spent an hour trying to contact hotel, call would transfer, then disconnect. I finally got through, was put on hold for 45min before a lady answered with a complete lack of professionalism. I started speaking and was cut off. A man came on, apologized that the lady was having troubles, though not an excuse for poor service, was flustered. The man solved my issue.
Parking was sketchy. There were 2 men sitting in a truck in the dark so I opted to park farther away from the hotel entrance where I found they lock the door at night which didn’t leave a great feeling leaving my car unattended.
Check in was seamless, I totally appreciated this. Lobby was clean & beautiful decor. One elevator was broke, waited for a few minutes before realizing it wasn’t moving, this was just annoying.
I got up to my room, outdated but seemed clean… at least at 1:30am it did. The bed was super comfy. I woke up and went to the gym. The gym was dirty and smelly. Missing dumbbell pairs and totally lacking even for a hotel gym.
Back in my room I realized how gross dirt behind the bathroom door and in the shower curtain.
Ok. Check out, I asked about my deposit and was told it would automatically go back on my CC. Going into surgery I was bombarded by calls from the hotel that they accidentally charged my card the deposit and I would then have to wait 10 days for a return….. not impressed. The only good thing was the night attendant and the bed.
