Unique check-in method in my experience with a monitor for a remote process that worked quite well. The attendants were very kind even though I didn't meet them in person.

The room was filthy. Found 2 bugs. Bathroom was filthy, sink was not cleaned and had wiskers all over countertop. Cigarette butts were all over stairway to upper floor. Won't stay here again.
