“This place is a birder’s paradise. They have every tropical habitat you could want on the back trails, and proper guides to spot the birds. The rooms are very good, the front desk staff was charming. The views are spectacular. The feeders are jammed with birds. Only negative was that we were almost totally rained off for 24 hours, but that’s what can happen in a rainforest. I already want to return. ”

We were only here for one night since we just needed a stay that would get us closer to our next stop and didn’t want to drive late at night but we definitely wouldn’t mind staying longer to relax. “Rooms are old and bathrooms doesn’t flush properly. There are no other attractions around and have to go to la fortuna for any activity which is an hour drive. The resort is good with thermal spas and pools .”

“Perfect hotel! You are immersed in the jungle and the scenery is amazing. Hotel was spotless, staff was friendly and helpful, food was good, great location. This was the perfect hotel for our trip to La Fortuna, I would definitely recommend it and stay here again. Each room has it's own personal hot tub on the balcony and you're surrounded by trees and flowers which makes it very private. There are stores and a couple of restaurants within walking distance as well. ”
