We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. "This is a beautiful resort. The hot springs are very natural and relaxing, and very clean. There is an infinity pool looking out at the volcano. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We in got a lot hiking and activity in the area but also enjoyed the gym at the hotel which is well- equipped."

"I really loved the appearance of eveything. It,s like being in a themapark of disney. The eye for detail is amazing. The tropical look is also very nice. The vew at the Arenal volcano is impressive. We arrived in the afternoon when it was raining. The volcano disappeared completely. The next morning the sky cleared and was completely blue and sunny. We hiked up to the viewing point. And the sights were amazing. The hike.is like 2 kms up and you do need at least some sort off physical stamina,because there are oarts of the road which are quite steep. Breakfast is great and staff very friendly and helpfull. The combination of hotsprings ans normal."cold" water is great.Will certainly como back again."
