The location in old town was perfect - a bit busy during the day, but wonderful after about 5:00 p.m. The accomodation was excellent, but be aware that if you are trying to self-cater and use the kitchen facilities, there is no real grocery store in the old town, so you have to walk/drive the 1.5 km back to the new town (which has great facilities). “The Akrotiri Hotel was really good, so much so that we stayed longer than planned. The host Timus was very accommodating explaining that the breakfast was €7 extra per person despite the booking site stating that it was free but the receipt was ambiguous in that respect.
