The area around it is quite and beautiful being right on the water! The walk to town isn’t too bad but there are dining options and a few stores nearby too. “This retreat hotel is close to the airport. Argostoli is about 20 mins drive. Room was spacious with a small kitchen. Access to beach is a short 2 min drive from hotel. Staff was attentive and gave us useful travel tips and driving directions. Restaurant menu offered limited choices but we were able to pre-order seafood dishes in advance and the hotel chef then ordered from the local fish market. We noticed water to contain sediment not sure if because of water filtering or water salt issues. ”

“If you're looking at Domus Alta, don't hesitate, just book it! Just returned from 10 days here and for the price we paid we were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our stay here. From super quick check-in to when we left we could not fault our apartment and the lovely owner, Angella, made sure every detail was perfect for us.
