โThis property is incredibly situated with an amazing view down Ella Gap. The rooms are built into the side of the hill, with wooden doors and windows openingnupmon the view - so tjink more like a challet (or lodge!) than fancynjotel room. โThe view was amazing at Belmont it was absolutely breath taking and the rooms and washrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good as well. The only caution to look out for it thereโs bugs that come in the room at night through the door to the balcony if thereโs so hidden spaces, but if u stuff a bag or something in those spaces it should be okay. โ

The hotel itself is more of a guest house. Rooms are very basic - but very large. Can easily accommodate 4 people.
Breakfast is either sri-lanken or western, they are very generous with the quantities.
If you are looking for a 4/5 star hotel - itโs not the place for you.
It is a low budget option for families who prefer that kind of experience.

โI showed up and they were not expecting us- the property had changed hands and the owner did not have access to the hotels.com account.
Then, they said we hadn't paid enough, that the rooms prices has increased, and instead of the two rooms we had booked and paid for, we would be given one.โ
โProperty had an โExceptionalโ rating and itProperty looked run down, verging on dangerous. It was in a completely out of the way area; far from any businesses/shops/restaurants. โ
