"It is true rhat when you first see the Gasthoff you do not get the best impression. The outside could do with renovations and the reception looks a bit messy. But it is a family run place with very friendly and accommodating people. Breakfast is nice and beautifully displayed. The rooms are small but cosy and thoroughly clean. "Great location, but the hotel used to allow smoking, and it still smells of cigarettes. Fortunately, the LOOKEN hotel next door is managed by the same staff, and they upgraded us to a much better room (for an additional cost). "

Excellent service from the receptionist, room was huge (junior suite), bed was huge and super comfy, bathroom was a good size with a good shower, nice towels and shampoo etc. the toilet was in another room but turned out better due to privacy.
