"This is a guest house in the truest sense of the word. Out host met us when we arrived and took us to a sitting room for a refreshing apple drink and a chat, then showed us to our room and explained everything about the room and the breakfast the next morning. The room (2 bedrooms, actually) was clean, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. We had a great view of the fjord, and the room was quiet. The bathroom was very nice and the shower was great. The next morning we were given a huge buffet of breads, toasts, cheeses (including the famous local cheese), fruit, toppings and jams, etc. Our hosts then cooked us omelettes and Norwegian waffles, and we finished off with a piece of chocolate cake. Delicious! We were also given information about the history of the house, the ferry and the area, including things to see and do. All in all, my favorite stay in all of Norway!"

"Lovely Viking themed room complete with animal skin bed throw. Clean room albeit a few ants to help us enjoy the nature of the area. Stunning views with walks, kayaking etc. Breakfast was excellent."
