"The place has a lot of personality, and the location is very beautiful. It was not as clean as expected. Breakfast was very standard, not very varied, and was always the same for the 3 nights. Staff was great. The room windows had some old type of blinds which were not very practical to open and close with the help of a clip. The fans provided due to lack of air conditioning were very noisy, they should think about installing different fans, maybe in the ceiling, that look nice, are quieter, and do the job."

"Plenty of free parking. The room was a good size, clean and well appointed. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food and drink. The reception staff were excellent. We got to know them really well as we were staying for a week. There was a cafe / restaurant immediately opposite and reasonably priced. The hotel was named Vitoria but the town itself was a 12 / 15 minute drive away."

"We landed at this hotel after our VRBO fell out (confirmed reservation from VRBO, host said they rejected as full so we had to scramble). Very clean and well appointed. Price was a bit high due to the eclipse but VRBO covered the difference so it didnt matter much to us. The one challenge is that you'll def need wifi or phone service to check in (my french service wasnt cooperating). Great location and beautiful old building. Recommended!"

Hotel Dolarea

"We had a brief single night stop over at Hotel Dolorea. Booked through Expedia, which seemed to cause some confusion for the staff upon arrival but after some investigation by the staff our booking was found. We booked a shared room for a family of four. Room was air conditioned which was a welcome relieve from the near 40C outside. Room was spacious with a very generous sized bathroom, beds were comfy and water was in the mini fridge. There was no kettle in the room. Room/hotel were accessed using a key code which worked well when returning from an evening meal. A bonus is the private parking in the hotels subterranean car park for 10 euros a night. All in all a good experience, staff were friendly and helpful. Beasain is a delightful town for an evening stroll with some interesting historical features."
