“Oh my gosh, this place is absolutely breathtaking! Sitting under the covered patio during the afternoon showers was so relaxing. We saw over 40 species of birds on the property. The property is situated so you can see all the macaws flying over the water to roost each night. We absolutely loved this spot!”

“Our flight was diverted due to weather, causing a 5 hour delay so we were not actually able to stay overnight but staff kindly let us hang out in the morning and enjoy our breakfast. The breakfast was super tasty and filling. Two scarlet macaws ate bananas at the feeders while we had our breakfast. Such a cool experience!”

“If you’re planning to escape the city’s chaos, this is the perfect place to do it. Waking up to the soothing sounds of birdsong and the gentle cascading of a waterfall is an incredible experience. The staff, including Eric and Carla, are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. The only inconvenience is that it’s located far from everything and everyone. “What an amazing spot! Only a few minutes drive from downtown Atenas, but you feel like you're miles and miles away, up in the hills in a secluded spot with an amazing view. The hosts at the hotel were exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and they had loads of great dining recommendations to offer. We'll definitely stay here if we find ourselves back in the area. ”
