“I truly cannot say enough good things about this place! The hotel is beautiful. The pool is great to cool off in after a long, hot day. The rooms are spacious and have a nespresso. The small store in the hotel is so helpful (we forgot fins to snorkel with, they had them). The owner is phenomenal. He always gave suggestions on where to go, what to see, where to eat. He helped us with things that had absolutely nothing to do with the hotel and he certainly didn’t have to help us with. I would...

“Resort is beautiful, everyone is welcoming and very friendly. If you have difficulty walking the resort has steep hills and one really needs a car rental. Guests may call for the resort shuttle, but we felt captive and spent a lot on tips for the drivers. Breakfast buffet was good but not hot. Limited choices for lunch and dinner. Other than these, it was a relaxing time. ”

“When I first read reviews of Tamarind, the reviews were mixed. I decided to take a chance and we couldn’t have been happier. The room was spacious and clean. The location of our room was fantastic, I walked out with my coffee every morning and was greeted by the ocean. The pool was right there and my daughter loved that. “This property is almost to the end of the island on the east end. It is absolutely beautiful and the staff could not be nicer. The food at the restaurant is great and reasonably priced, particularly for a hotel/resort restaurant. The rooms are beautiful, bright and airy. The view is spectacular. We will visit again.”

“We stayed in coral room which is in a courtyard very safe with digital locks for room and courtyard at night! Turquoise blue shallow water right across the street for snorkeling/swimming. On site restaurant and bar was great and other dining options in any direction walkable. Plenty of local history and the people you meet are super friendly!”
