Disliked: Amenities
The room was fine and the staff were very good and the location was very handy for access to the town but amenities were not 4-star: I asked Reception for an iron to freshen up a shirt before going to a wedding but was advised that irons were not provided to rooms. Breakfast was OK but, again, not up to what we’re used to in 4-star hotels. Towels in rooms were the poorest we’ve seen – at home, we’d have decommissioned them long before the pile became so thin. We'd stay there again but it would not be our first choice.

Overall, it's a decent property. However, our room was not ready on time and we had to wait around for a while before we could check in. The rooms could also benefit from a deeper clean — the carpet didn't appear to be properly vacuumed or maintained.

Stayed for 1 night with kids…great spacious hotel 5-8 mins walk to the Evora walled city. Several onsite facilities which we couldn’t use because they close by 7-8pm…I wish they stayed open late so we can enjoy after our full day excursion in the city. Excellent spread of breakfast buffet for every age and appetite. They also apparently had buffet dinner which we weren’t aware but looked quite appealing.

The beds were really not comfortable, for everybody, whether it was the kids sleeping in the junior beds or us in the standard bed. It gets really hot in August in Evora and the AC couldn’t keep up. The parking is easy, even if not free.
