"We did enjoy our stay at the Imperial, the breakfast was excellent. Very nice indoor pool with spa, it was a shame that the outside pool was not in use particularly during this very hot spell.
My only complaint, and I should have mentioned this to reception, as soon as we entered the room there was an unpleasant smell of stale urine, I thought maybe that it could have been the bathroom but it was not. It turned out to be in the wardrobes.
Our clothes did not smell very good after 4-5 days when we went home, some of the things that we took to wear that were not worn had to be washed again on our return, our clothes did not smell very nice when they were taken out of the case on our return. I am surprised that this was not picked up by the cleaning staff."
"Lovely room with sea view. Not particularly big but had practically everything you needed. Nice friendly staff. Good location between the town and the seafront."
"As an overnight stay as part of a long journey to Cornwall, we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped, with very welcome air conditioning. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional with excellent customer service training. Food at both dinner and breakfast was good value and cooked well. We shall definitely look to stay again when in the area."
"Right on the beach. Parking £8 per 24 hours. Manager of hotel lovely. Breakfast of good quality. Room dates but clean. We had twin beds which were quite narrow but not uncomfortable. Shower good. Overall a. Ice stay. Would book again. "
"Lovely location with available parking outside the property or on the roadside. Beautiful views of the beach out of our bedroom window. Room was clean and comfortable with the expected basics provided.
Staff were helpful and informative and keen to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was a served full English which can be adapted to suit individual needs.
All in all, I would recommend this hotel and I look forward to staying here again."
