Nice hotel in the center of Fairford

My only criticism is that the room was noisy at night due to an air conditioner unit. This was an intermittent noise (like a fan catching). If it was not for this, I would rate this hotel as an excellent experience.

Cosy and Quirky

We only stayed overnight but what a lovely hotel. very cosy and comfortable. The room was lovely, had everything you needed. The little touches like the toothbrush and toothpaste, cotton buds and makeup pads etc was perfect although we didn't use them. We would stay again definitely and would recommend this hotel. The staff we lovely and helpful too.

Good location overlooking market square.

Cool welcome on arrival... No milk in room for tea and no phone! Disappointed continental breakfast only - cooked breakfast was extra which we were not aware of. Room rate debited from our account within 2 hours of arrival.

Nice little spot

Coming from the US, I felt like this ancient building was dripping with authenticity and character and for that I loved it! It has seen some recent updates to make it more functional but it is filled with the old world charm you're probably looking for when heading into the English countryside. The street outside gets a bit noisy during the morning rush so don't plan on sleeping in.

Beautiful hotel, absolutely loved it.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is stunning. This felt like a 5* hotel. I intend to come back as soon as possible! The staff are so friendly and attentive. As a guest, we felt so well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a small double room. It was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable, everything was very clean. There was a bit of noise from the square with the window open, but the complimentary ear plugs helped with that! Breakfast was served in the beautifully decorated bar by an open fire.

Stunning

Stayed at the Bull for 2 nights 6&7 Oct, 2017. Loved every minute. First class quintessential English pub/hotel. Rm 12, beautiful large room. Stunning decor throughout the hotel. Very welcoming, warm and attentive staff. Fairford a small, quiet village, central to everything.

Lovely old hotel in quiet Cotswold village

Comfortable hotel with good rooms. Staff friendly, informal and on the ball. Great breakfasts and good dinners.A very enjoyable experience.

Stylish B&B

The B&B was very welll decorated, modern bathroom & bedroom and spotlessly clean. The only down side Is because it is ran as a pub and restaurant it's very noisy pub but this is to be expected.

Beautiful

The Bull Hotel is so beautiful, in a stunning part of the English countryside. We stayed here for a Wedding in the church next door. I was so pleasantly surprised at how lovely the hotel was inside, it has so many original features and oozes character. It has been decorated very well, with some modern furniture and walls painted sympathetic colours to compliment the history. Our room was lovely, a simple double with a shower room. It was clean, well presented and very comfortable. The staff were polite and courteous. We were checked in and out by the land lady, who we think only forgot to let us know the breakfast times, so we hedged our bets and went for 9.30. Unfortunately all the rest of the people form the wedding had descended 15 mins earlier and had sent everything into chaos. With over 30 to feed all at the same time, understandably we waited a little while to be seated and fed. We didn't mind, the breakfast delicious. If we get a chance we will definitely return to this little gem of the Cotswolds!!

stayed 3 nights . staff were polite and looked after all our needs including making sandwhiches for the morning ,left before breakfast,clean good food a little dear but good, good beer ,

Great location

Generally a tired hotel that is apparently closing soon for refurbishment. We were two minutes late for breakfast although we weren't told it finished at 9.00am. However we did get some toast and tea.

The charming bull.......

An extremely picturesque location with lovely walks and good local amenities for the size of the town. The bar area in the hotel was lovely and the food and service were both excellent.staff were friendly and responsive and the overall feel of the hotel was very pleasant. The room was a little tired and in need of some tickets but it was clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Quirky old building

Staff were very accommodating, our room wasn't ready when we arrived, we were offered complimentary drinks, which was lovely, and the staff were lovely. the bed was very comfortable, but the shower wasn't up to much. We thought it was very good value for money.

Stayed many times before this stay let them down

We usually stay here often due to family living in village but have to say this stay the room was horrid.. There was no bath (which I needed) and it was a very small room with no view out of the window just of a brick wall we were in a very high room (room 14) the bed was good as always but the room Itself let it down.. I was very disappointed as like I have said before we have had beautiful rooms offering views of the market square and lovely large rooms and paid less in the past than we did at this stay.. Would reconsider staying again next time or will call in advance to check the room

No usable wifi in the room

The toliet was very hard to flush and no fruit in the breakfast.
